HCC'S PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICY

WHY DO WE HAVE A POLICY?

Due to the data protection law that comes into force throughout the EU in May 2018, Helsingborg Cargo Center AB (HCC) has established the following policy.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?

The purpose of this policy is to inform our employees, customers, and suppliers about how we collect, use, share, and protect the personal data we need to fulfill our commitments to these actors and relevant authorities. Of course, we only process personal data that is adequate in the context between HCC and our counterpart.

WHAT IS THE PERSONAL DATA?

The personal data we handle at HCC regarding employees are first and last name, personal identification number, address, phone number, email address, emergency contact and their phone number, account details for salary payment, vacation date preferences, professional competence information, and for drivers also driving and rest times.

The personal data we handle at HCC regarding customers are company name, organization number, first and last name of the contact person, address, phone number, email address.

The personal data we handle at HCC regarding suppliers are company name, organization number, first and last name of the contact person, address, phone number, email address, bank details for invoice payment. For external drivers who collect goods from HCC, we also request a copy of ID document.

WHY DO WE NEED TO SHARE PERSONAL DATA?

In order to perform assignments according to agreements with our customers, fulfill the requirements as a good employer, and to comply with laws and regulations towards authorities, we may share personal data with third parties.

HOW DO WE THINK ABOUT SECURITY AND INTEGRITY?

At HCC, we have implemented appropriate physical, technical, and organizational measures to protect our employees', customers' suppliers' personal data against unauthorized access, dissemination, accidental loss, unauthorized modification, and destruction. We do not use any personal data for advertising messages or profiling, our website currently does not handle cookies.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR DATA AT HCC?

Anyone who wishes to access their personal data at HCC is welcome to contact us in writing. To prevent others from accessing this information, this must be done with a personally signed request. Those who wish also have the opportunity to request that information be deleted or corrected. Requests should be sent to Helsingborg Cargo Center AB, Landskronavägen 7c, 25232 HELSINGBORG.

HOW TO APPROVE HCC'S DATA PROTECTION POLICY?

By entering into agreements and using our services, using our web services, entering into an employment contract with HCC, or performing assignments on our behalf, you approve that HCC uses the personal data processed in this policy and in applicable laws. The information is kept at HCC for as long as we need it for the current assignment, agreement, or as long as required by law.

Quality Policy

Helsingborg Cargo Center AB strives to be characterized by good quality, responsiveness, and putting the customer at the center. With our broad expertise, we perform terminal handling, storage, transport, and forwarding as well as related activities. Our goal is that each individual project, large or small, should meet our customers' needs. Our customers should be able to rely on each goods being delivered on time, and that the work we perform meets customer requirements and quality.

All work and materials in all our assignments we have received shall be performed so that at least the level and scope of commitment established in agreements, arrangements, and laws and regulations are followed.

This is fulfilled by:

  • Continuously driving an improvement and goal-oriented quality work according to ISO 9001.
  • Performing continuous self-checks of the work that are documented in the form of protocols and signed by authorized and trained personnel.
  • Delivering the same quality to all customers regardless of size and turnover.
  • Repeatedly investing in modern and quality equipment, both in terminal and haulage operations.
  • Ensuring that our staff has the experience/permits and competence required.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors whose work maintains the same high quality as our own.
  • Risk assessing our processes to identify potential quality deficiencies and taking measures to prevent them.
  • Analyzing and managing any quality deficiencies that arise to prevent them from occurring again.
